1959 Thunderbird with 1960 parts car. The 59 has engine and transmission in the car. We bought the 59 in Wyoming in 2005 with the intent to use the parts from the 60 to complete the restoration. It has a bit of rust on the outside near the bottom of the doors. The floor pans are slightly rusty and may need to be replaced. Neither cars start or run at this point. The 60 has the interior and all the windows still in the car. The 60 is very rusty on the interior and exterior. Most of the chrome on the cars are still in good condition. We have the 8 cyl. engine for the 60 out of the car and will go with the purchase as well. There are 4 carburators in the 1960 that go with them as well. In a nut shell......you are getting a rebuildable, 1959 Thunderbird with a nearly complete 1960 to use as parts to get you most of the way restoring the 1959. A 1958 title to convert the car if you want. Two cars for the price of one. If anything....there is enough chrome and extra parts from them to be worth twice the starting price. We have looked over the car a bit harder and found a collection of 58, 59 and 60 parts on the car. We have a clean 1958 title for the car if you want to convert the 59 to a 58. ********Just got the trunks open !!!!!!...found most of the trim pieces for the 59 and lots more in the 60's trunk. Most of the parts are labeled where they were taken off from. We found more carburators ( 7 total now!!) , 2 starters, radiator and wipers, you name it....look at the new pictures!! ******** I talked to a local company to help load both cars on your trailer with a large fork lift for a small fee.
