Selling 1972 Classic Chevrolet Chevelle that was in restoration for more than 3 years. It went from nothing to something special.= SEE PHOTOS. Many dollars and alot of man hours spent to make this car the car it is today. This car was built to drive and enjoy as well as "win alot of trophys" at car shows. People love this car, it will turn every head in town driving in it or just parked. I also have a few Photos of car before restoration and many after restoration as well as thousands of dollars in receipts = Photos and receipts come with sale of car. This car is Gorgeous - NO RUST NONE! solid nice floor pans and body parts SEE ALL PHOTOS and VIDEO! The doors, fenders, trunk lid, hood, grill, glass, all removed from car in restoration - SEE LAST PHOTOS! The inside was also stripped "gutted" to bare metal =SEE LAST PHOTOS IN LISTING. Any metal body panel or pan needing replaced was. This car lived in ARIZONA most it's life and then transported to Nevada for restoration in 2007. Started with bare metal - then car was poly coated inside and out before paint. The outside of car was blocked and sanded then custom painted in GORGEOUS ' PLUM CRAZY PURPLE ' with argent silver SS strips painted on hood as well as trunk area. Then car was clear coated many times. Car was then wet color sanded in 3000 then cut and buffed to a wet high gloss show type finish. You can read a newspaper backwards in the paint = the body and paint work on this car was well over 9,000 alone. Car was restored to enjoy = drive and SHOW. Not built as a national show car you push in and out of a trailer with white gloves on = And I have not priced it as a national show car = So bid to own, this car is garage art at its best and will fill a garage or office with many trophys for years to come. With that said if this car was any nicer you would not want to drive it and get it dirty =If you can see it -It is detailed and clean! ! This car is very sanitary and loaded with new parts when restored -out with the old and in with the new! New Paint, new chrome front and rear bumpers, new grill, new bezels and badging, new mirros and door handles, new door windows and truck rubbers, new under hood sound deadner, new front windshield glass, new tires and wheels, new fender trim molding, alot of new window stainless, new doors - trunk -Ing locks, and on and on - about everything on the outside of body was replaced with new! SEE PHOTOS and VIDEO. Everything inside the car was also replaced new or like new = SEE PHOTOS! Car has very stock running gear, built to be very reliable = It starts first time every time. Car was restored to drive and enjoy - NOT BUILT TO DRAG RACE. It has a stock chevy 350 v8 with 4 bbl carb under the hood, the motor and motor bay area is also very clean and detailed nice =SEE PHOTOS. The motor runs 180 deg in traffic all day long " No heat up Issues". Car runs 30 lbs oil pressure and the motor runs very smooth at idle and has no flat spots or hesitation when you step on it. The transmission is also a stock GM turbo 350 automatic and this car shifts perfect! Rear end of car is fitted with a GM 10 bolt chevy rear end with nice 323 highway gears so it is a great classic to drive out of town and on the inserstate unlike most! Also four new shocks installed with air shocks on rear to adjust the rear ride height as you see fit. This Chevelle will run the Interstate at 70 plus MPH all day long. I bought the car with the current running gear in it so I can't tell you much about build spec! other than it's a stock 350 V8 chevy small block with a GM turbo 350 auto transmission - power sreeting - power brake - 10 bolt rear end you would of driven in the early 1970. Parts you can buy over the counter at any local auto parts store if needed. I did drive this car on a summer cross country road trip Las Vegas, Nevada to Medford, Oregon - that's a 16 hour road trip with food and gas stops along the way. I did it in one day driving speeds from 0 to 75 "plus MPH" across the open Nevada desert in 100 plus deg weather and this car drove and ran great. Car was just serviced 800 miles ago - oil changed and new oil filter - Transmission also serviced with new filter - rear end also drained and new fluid - power brakes adjusted = So it is ready to go! The motor area in this car is very stock looking but is detailed very nice = SEE PHOTOS. The bottom side of car is cleaner than most car that get driven.The paint is gorgeous 4 sure and the inside looks very sharp also finished in "white and gray" people love it clean and classie = SEE PHOTOS! Everything in the car, Wipers, Heater, Horn, Lights, Back Up lights, Brake Lights, Turn Singles, Running Lights, Gas Gauge, Dash Lights, High and Low beam lights, E brake, all in good working order. Also has under dash gauge package, volt gauge, temp gauge, oil pressure gauge all in good working order. Doors and trunk lock and unlock with the key! The Speedometer works but the speedometer cable makes noise, drives me crazy = So I ordered a new one that will come with the sale of car! The trunk in this car looks outstanding also finished in the correct SS fleck finish = SEE PHOTOS! This car was an original A/C car and still retains the A/C parts - It needs a compresser and lines and should work fine. So in a nut shell - Selling a very nice classic Chevelle that was built as a SS when restored. Not a factory SS Chevelle but this Chevelle will win trophys over any true SS at any car show it has been in. Like I said people love this car! Motor has miles on it but runs outstanding - NO lifter noise - No rattles - Very tight motor - No blow by. 30 lbs oil pressure! No oil usage in 800 of driving on cross desert road trip. I said in video that motor will smoke when you cold start it - if car has been sitting. Because it will and I am an honest person and have nothing to hide unlike most sellers of used vehicles in this world. The motor sat unstarted for three years when car was being restored. I would replace the valve guides if I did anything to the current motor at all. That's If I was going to keep stock motor set up under the hood. That's a 300 repair at any garage and issue fixed. If you want to fit that issue. Just as a note a new stock rebuilt 350 chevy crate motor out of the box is under 1,000 with warranty at any auto part store on this planet. Motor is in outstanding running order. = SEE VIDEO OF CAR DRIVING UP AND DOWN THE STREET = Like I said runs nice! Someone also asked me " what more would do to car if i kept it " = Great Question = Keep it stock or go 396 BIG BLOCK under the hood and call it good = make it KING KONG of classic chevells. A BIG BLOCK motor would give it the under hood WOW factor for sure. This is a awesome car with awsome paint ADD a BIG BLOCK 396 under the hood and you won't find a cooler Chevelle on this planet! With that said car is NOT IN NEED OF A MOTOR - like I said just drove this car without Issue across three states! Next Question - YES car has turbo 350 auto trans - just serviced and performs like new! Rear end also just serviced and rear gears and berring inspected = looked outstanding also. Like I said car has running gear under it. OK the big question many keep asking = WHAT IS THE RESERVE PRICE - WHAT IS THE CASH IN HAND FAST PAY PRICE - note to all lookers and real buyers =THE BODY AND PAINT WORK ON THIS CAR = WITH ALL NEW CHROME PARTS = ALL NEW INSIDE PARTS = TIRES AND WHELLS = WILL COST YOU WELL OVER 20,000 WITH LABOR TO INSTALL. ======= THATS BEFORE YOU ADD IN ANY RUNNING GEAR - MOTOR TRANSMISSION - REAR END - BRAKES AND SO ON.
