This is a VERY nice 1971 VW Beetle. It is not just any old 1971 beetle it has been customized in various ways to feature some of the earlier beetle features. It has the one piece windows,smoothed gas door "is in front trunk like earlier beetles" , roof rack, shaved front fender lights, early style snowflake rear tail lights, new low back seats "from earlier style", custom door panels, new carpet, headliner and steering wheel along with early style gauges. It has a custom speaker tray behind the back seat and custom speaker panels in the front along with a subwoofer hidden behind the back seat in a custom box. The car has is lowered and can be raised or lowered in the front and rear with the adjusters. The front has a 3 inch narrowed beam to tuck the front wheels from rubbing when its that low. New lowered shocks all the way around. The front end has A Front Disc Brake Conversion. The motor and trans have less then 9k miles on them since redone and runs great. It has a 1600 Dual Port Motor, dual carbs, LOTS OF CHROME.Short throw shifter. Just put on the Bug Pack All Ceramic coated Hideaway exhaust which looks AMAZING and sounds great to. This is a really nice car which has placed at many car shows including the Bug-A-Thon in California. The paint and body on the car is excellent and the body is straight! The only bad spots on the paint are a small dent on the bottom front fender from when the previous owner took it off the trailor and a small crack in paint on the rear deck lid and one on the hood. Isnt really that noticable.I do have a pint of paint if you want to fix it I just havnt had time to and hasnt bothered me that much. Beautiful car!
