Vehicle Detail
1969 Mach 1 Fastback one-owner "survivor": original number's-matching engine; 100% factory-original paint and interior; perfect factory-original floors with zero rust ever; a completely virgin body with zero accidents or touch-ups; 130K original miles. The original engine was completely rebuilt approximately 20,000 ago, and it runs excellent. The factory-original "Black Clarion Knit/Vinyl" interior is in nice condition, the factory "Lime Gold" paint untouched since the car was produced in San Jose, California, on January 18, 1969. Aside from several small rust areas on the doors and one quarter panel, the car is rust-free. The undercarriage is pristine: every factory spot weld perfect; every bolt thread sharp; each nut easy to turn. This car's perfect original structure makes it an excellent candidate for top-end restoration. Again, zero accidents; 100% factory-original paint with no touchups whatsover. This car was puchased new and cared for by one owner, it has never been driven hard or abused. Most restored Mustangs have nice paint over replaced metal, bondo, and hidden rust. Original California cars with 100% rust-free floors are highest quality cars in the world. Thanks for looking! Please watch the slideshow of 300 detailed (and downloadable) pictures (you can speed it up by clicking on it). Then watch two videos of Gino demonstrating the engine.
