1977 MG MGB with factory electric overdrive MG is a pretty vanilla rubber bumper, with most of the usual ailments, and a LOT of new stuff. New TiresNew TopWeber Carb Conversion (including water cooled intake)New Oil CoolerNew Radiator4-to-1 header (cast manifold removed)Stainless exhaust from header to rearOptical Ignition Conversion (no points)New master cylinder (Wilwood 1" bore) and brake boosterElectric Overdrive (not wired up)New aftermarket 12v fuel pumpNew front rotors I've had this MGB for a number of years, and have tinkered with it off and on. Previous owner (5+ years ago) paid for a number of 'new items', and I've since kept the car garaged until last year. Car runs, and drives out fine. The engine had supposedly been rebuilt (along with transmission) by previous owner in TX, but that's debatable, as the engine had a bent pushrod when I bought it. The wiring is a mess under the hood, and could use someone spending some time on it. The interior isn't tragic, but coudl also use some TLC. The sets have some seam ruptures, and the carpet is acceptable as a cruise in car...but not as a show car. Body work is decent....but not nearly as great as it looks in the photos. Floor pan on right has some amount of rust. Overall, it's a fun little car....not fully restored but with a small amount of effort she could be a daily driver. Again, car is drivable, and I drive it on occassion, but I'd trailer it if going over 40 miles or so. Not interested in trades.
