Vehicle Detail
NO RESERVE 1972 Triumph GT6, Burgandy exterior, black interior, seats 2, no rear seats, 6 cylinder, 4 sp manual transmission. I believe the car produces 90 hp, and weighs around 1200-1500 pounds. The milage is around 97,000 miles. Things that need attention: The car has a small scrape on the rear quarter panel (see pictures). 2 small quarter size surface rust spots by the headlights, and some rust under the paint (bubbles) under the drivers door. The chrome fancy things on the bumpers are weak in spots, but bumpers are stroung. The paint is faded. I just waxed it for the pictures. Front passenger tire has 1 out of 4 bad studs. I had a flat and someone stripped 1 stud when replacing the flat. The interior roof liner is aged. I replaced the water pump last year. Tires and exhaust look good. The car has a manual chock and sometimes dies until it is warmed up. The car runs and drives good. I have owned the car for about 5 years, and only drove it for 2 years. I pull it out of storage and drive around the storage lot once in a while. I think I'm the 4th owner. I bought it from the 2nd owners daughter, she would have been the 3rd owner and didn't drive the car. I believe the second owner put the most miles on the car. On the hood of the vehicle their is a bump. I do not think it is factory installed, but it was done to look like it was factory installed. I don't know who installed it or for what reason. I guess it may have been installed for a larger carborater? Everything appears to be original except for bump on hood. Under the car is very clean. Please call 414-840-9007 if you have other questions. Additional pictures available.
