Up for sale is my 1964 El Camino with 45,000 original miles. I purchased the vehicle three years ago from the family that had owned the vehicle from 1965 to 2008. The vehicle runs and drives like it did in 1964. The engine is solid with no issues and the transmission shifts and operates properly. I have done considerable work on the car which I will list below: Installed new Stainless Steel brake lines. Rebuilt all the brakes completly. Installed new gaskets on the engine. Installed a new heater core. Installed new floor pans and braces. Installed new carpet and liner. Installed new door panels and armrest. Installed new interior chrome. Had the original clock rebuilt with a quartz movement. Installed new fuel line 3/8". Installed new fuel tank and sending unit. Installed new shock absorbers. Rebuilt the carburator. Installed a new fuel pump. Radiator cleaned and pressure tested. Car comes with eagle mags and the original rims and hupcaps/ with newer tires. New custom autosound radio and speakers Comes with a rubber bed matt. Good chrome. The car is nice, but not perfect: The paint is showing its age and could use a re-paint, but it does shine and looks good going down the road. The rear bumper is dinged, but I have a brand new bumper that comes with the car. The front springs lift the front of the car a little higher than normal, the springs were on the car when it was purchased by me. There is a some repairwork that will need done in the bed. in the bed. There will need to be some minor body work along the rear window. The paint does show some laquer cracks in the right rear corner and tailgate. Please note that this vehicle is 47 years old, and is has not been restored but rather brought back to drive. I encourage all bidders to inspect the vehicle prior to bidding. I have described the condition of this car to the best of my knowledge. My reserve is less than what I have invested in the car.
