Vehicle Detail
We just had a new baby so it's time to let this baby go. :( 1974 International Scout II I've done a ton of work to this beast. I'll start from the inside. First I removed all the seats. Stripped all the paint down from the fire wall to the tail gate. I put on three coats of bed liner. I had the seats redone with old school bronco material. They look great! I removed the dash pad and coated it with bed liner as well. I installed two new shifter knobs(original from Everything Scout). I had all the gauges rewired(every gauge works). All lights work too. Original radio is still in there. dash is complete, never cut. Had a full cage fabricated. Installed a new Grant steering wheel. The exterior was repainted a few years ago. Looks pretty good, not perfect. All the exterior lights are new. Including the lens covers, except for the tail lens covers, they still look good. Bumpers, grill, emblems, light housing were all coated with spray liner. New tires. Two tops. One regular bikini top and a larger bikini top that is installed now. It almost cover the entire bed. Two inch body lift installed. Engine has low miles, less than 40 K. Just installed new water cooled intake from Clifford. Actualy i bought the entire kit. $1500 worth. Check it out at www.cliffordperformance.net intake, Headers, Weber Carb, and all associated equipment. This thing runs like a bat out of ........! It's true full dual exhuast from the header back. Two flowmasters installed. It sounds like a beefy V8. New motor mounts installed. Just did a complete full tune up including rotor, plugs and wires, oil, and all fluids. It has the original blue California plates. I have almost all of the stock parts to go with the Scout. If you part out all the stock parts you could probubly make $500 plus. I also have a binder full of reciepts to go with the Scout. I recently put over $3000 into the Scout. I drive it almost every day. It's daily driver ready. I get thumbs up everywhere i go. This is your chance to own a really well taken care of Scout. I'll be really sad to see it go. I welcome you to come by and take it for a drive, you will NOT be disapointed. I'm sure i forgot something so ask questions. I will include all the extra parts i have laying around my garage. This is a no reserve auction. Highest bid wins. Thanks for looking and God Bless. Bob For your information. Auction ends on August 9th. I go out to sea from the 10th thru the 19th (Navy). Not to much of a big deal, my wife will be home. Just letting you know in case you had any questions for me in person. Good luck and happy bidding. Also it has four new matching seat belts installed. 100 watchers.......how about some buyers?????!!!!!
