1987 HONDA CIVIC CRX Si edition I am the owner of this vehicle and am selling it because I do not drive it as often as I used to. Bought this car about 3 years ago when my fiance and I lived 80 miles apart and it did a great job of getting me back and forth every weekend without costing me an arm and a leg to keep up or to fill up! I am getting married next month and just don't need the car anymore. It is in great condition. It starts and drives very well. The factory A/C in the car blows air, but not cool air. The Heat works great and will blow you out of the car if you let it! Stereo is not factory...I have the original head unit with the turn dial knob if you would like. Stereo is nothing to boast about...but I did have it installed because all 4 OEM speakers that came in car were shot and the head unit was too complicated to operate while driving down the highway late at night. All lights work in car with exception of the 3rd brake light...probably a bulb or loose wire. Fog lamps are not original to car, but switch is in car under dash and they both work. Sun-roof pops up and down under own power, but due to a faulty switch, it will not slide back on it's own. The tires have good tread on them - the front two have less than a thousand miles on them. Rims are CRX Si phone-dial rims in good condition. Exterior of car is in good condition for being 24+ years old. Minimal rust near wheel wells. No missing body parts, no huge dents, road ready! Interior is likewise in good condition for it's age. Minor cut in driver's seat and a worn spot on floor board where driver's left foot would typlicaly rest. Engine pulls strong through all gears. Had two injectors replaced as well as a fuel pump and filter after purchasing car. Engine runs quite and smooth. Timing belt replaced less than 5 thousand miles ago. Fuel tank will need attention most likely. While filling tank, you can put in about 10 seconds worth of gas before it cuts the pump off. You must repeat this process for however much gas you would like to put it. I live less than one mile from my work so I only put a couple bucks in the tank every other week or so, so it never really bothered me. Exhaust has cherry bomb muffler on car. This car is almost 100% stock minus the fog lamps, stereo and muffler. Car is road ready...nothing preventing you from driving it out of my yard and all the way home to yours.
