windycitystop Store Hello, you are bidding on a 1998 Chevrolet Suburban K2500 3/4 ton 4x4 with a heavy duty tow package. This is a Great Driving Vehicle and is also a Hauling machine equipped with a huge 454 engine which has 164K miles on it (the last 70,000 miles that were put on this vehicle,were Highway Miles). This Suburban has mainly been used in Colorado and there is no salt used on the roads in CO, so there is no rust from salt.. The interior is all leather with general wear/tear and some small stains but fully intact with no rips. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING VEHICLE!!! There are some stains in the carpet but all of the carpet is fully intact with no serious damage. The Drivers side visor's clip is broken and the visor hangs slightly (you can not notice it at all when driving , and it is a very cheap and easy fix), also the aftermarket CD player sound quality is not very good and it skips sometimes when playing a CD (the radio and tape deck work great). There are 3 rows of seats (1st row-front seat, 2nd row-Back seat, 2nd seat goes flat, 3rd row seat, 3rd row is removable) which makes this a great Moving, Traveling, or family Vehicle. There are a few maintenance needs for the truck: air conditioning recharge which can be done by any mechanic, and a new motor for the windshield wipers which are working but have on occasion seemed to stutter or freeze leading me to believe they may need a new motor or belt I am unsure as the exact cause of the problem. I just had the break pads replaced and serviced but they do squeak some times when breaking (I think from dirt). The Suburban is a dark chocolate brown color and most of the paint is in good condition however there are random surface scratches all over the body from using the suburban on back-roads in CO, there's also some section's of pealing off on left front side of the hood (see photo) as well as some more minor pealing over the rest of the hood. There is also surface scratches (looks like someone tried to write something,See picture) on the right side from someone taking there keys to it ( I hate when people do that, it is not very noticeable but it is scratched in several spots, See Picture), there is also some yellow streaking on the plastic bumpers near the tires from bumping open a cattle gate which unfortunately rubbed off some streaks of yellow paint (see photo). The front passenger side door handle has cracked making it difficult to open from the inside, although it is still functioning and would be like new with a quick part replacement and the door locks w/o a problem. The only noticeable body damage is on the back left door from backing up into a loaded trailer which dented the door however this can be bumped out quite easily/cheaply and does not affect the function of the door. All power windows and door locks are working as well as interior, exterior and towing lights. I have just replaced the wiring for trailer lights and bought a new heavy duty ball hitch which comes with the truck! You will also be receiving the Garmin navigation system seen pictured with the vehicle as well as a valuable Thule secure all-weather roof box which is excellent for hauling fishing/skiing/camping gear and is already mounted and ready to go! I have tried my best to list all issues that I have found on this Suburban and will not be held responsible for any further problems that may occur with this vehicle after sale. I am not a mechanic but I can assure you that I have honestly listed this truck to the best of my knowledge and do not expect there to be any issues. This truck has a massive amount of life left and is a solid investment for anyone looking for a comfortable Vehicle that can haul anything. If you have ANY questions please don't hesitate to ask!
