1968 AMX Typhoon 290, Auto, Air This is a very rare car as only a few more than 400 were produced and four are currently registered This is the original color The motor produced 225 hp originally and was rebuilt by Collier Racing, now producing 315 HP Transmission was rebuilt by A1A Transmissions Miles since the rebuild are just over 8,000 This car has the 500 wheels but I have the original wheel covers The undercarriage has the optional rustproofing and is perfect All numbers match Interior has been professionally redone Racing seats installed for comfort and the original seats already rebuilt The original space saver spare and air bottle The stereo is an Alpine Head with CD, the door speakers are Kenwood powered by 90 watts, the rear speakers are boxed Kickers with an Alpine 12 inch sub woofer in the trunk with 200 watts Check the pictures and let me know what else you would like to see or what else I can tell you. I bought this car in 1976. I am selling it because I don't use it anymore. 8,000 miles in ten years! This is a piece of American history and is a fun muscle car.
