Vehicle Detail

1967 K25 Flat Black Rat This is my 1967 winter project Truck, my wife and I bought this Truck from a local Farmer here in Montana with the hopes of making a little bit of extra money on the restoration in the summer time, well summer is here and she is ready to go. Let me start off by saying this truck was pretty sound when we bought it, of coarse it had a few dents here and there and a small engine leak...all in all it is a great driver. As for the Truck box I think all the guy hauled was hay, because it is almost flawless with no rust. The body had a few dents and waves in it and it was a faded out mint green color on the outside and as you will see from the picks the inside is a silver color with a black dash pad. The Truck came with a 350 small block and a automatic Transmission that both work well, it doesnt use any oil and shifts like a champ. Here is the list from start to finish on what we did to the Truck. >Body work and Paint >Replaced Fuel Pump >Rebuilt Carb >Exaust Front to Back >Complete Tune up New lights front and Rear New Choke Cable New powerstearing hose New oil pan Gasket New 18' Rockstar Wheels New 18' Toyo Tire Nubs still showing I am sure I missed a few things, but I just wanted to build a clean and great running daily driver for somone with out dumping a pile of money into it. This Truck also Has 3 Fuel Tanks on it with a selector valve under the seat . Two of the tanks were added after the farmer bought the Truck and I believe they are like 20 gal each. This truck gets pretty good fuel miliage as well, just drive it with out getting into the 4 barrels and it will get close to 15 mpg. I would Drive this Truck anywhere so if you are thinking about flying here to drive it home you would have a great trip. It Drives like new as long as you enjoy 2-60 air...well if you have any questions please feel free to contact me happy bIdding and God Bless America!
