Baby coming in August, need to sell my bike. I purchased this motorcycle in 1999 with 10,700 on the odometer. I rode it until 2006 with 14,700 on the odometer. I have documented the previous owners from Phillipsburg, NJ, Newton, PA, and Perkasie, PA. I spoke with all of them once I bought the bike. In 2006 I moved the motorcycle into storage. I fogged the motor, removed the battery, drained the carbs, and the tank. The bike was properly preserved and stored under a cover. It was running wonderfully at the time of preservation; however, I have not had the time to tinker with it and properly prepare it for a re-fire. Overall the machine is in great shape for 30+ years. It has never been painted. The frame is flawless. The paint is good, with a few dings as I noted in the pictures. The emblems were a telltale sign of how these machines were cared for. Often they are yellowed and weathered from age. These are perfect. Upon inspecting the bike you will notice that all sticker, and decals are "as-new." Once again it speaks to how this bike was treated. Snowflake wheels are perfect. Seat is like new. Along with the bike comes all the documentation that I have, including the original owners manual. I have the original 2 keys that came with the bike. I have both the plastic and metal air intake assembly. To get her fired up and roadworthy, buyer will need new tires. Carbs will need to be tuned, along with the valves. A new battery is in order. I'd recommend a tune up (plugs, etc) and inspection before roadworthy. I knocked the baffles out of the exhaust (was too quiet for people to hear/see me) so buyer may want new pipes. Other than that, it should fire up. This is a bike you can invest a few dollars in to get it running and start to turn heads. I welcome buyer inspections. Would love to keep it and get back on it someday, but realistically, that day is a long time away.
