This 1974 Mercury Cougar XR7 is a one owner California car with just 94,481 miles It has the original California blue license plates and has lived in Reseda since new. The car runs and drives excellent and has obviously been taken car of its whole life. The interior shows minimal wear and has one spot where the fabric seperated (see picture). The headliner, vinyl top, door panels, and dash board are in excellent condtion. The original AM/FM radio works, but the antenna is broken. There is one piece of trim that is not on the car on the front of the passenger side fender. I have the piece, but it needs to be installed with a new trim clip that is available online. The paint appears to be original and there are minimal dings on the car. The paint is worn down on the drivers door, on top where someone would use it as an armrest (see photo). I cannot find any cancerous rust on the car. The 400 2V V8 runs great and just had a tune up. The AC will need a recharge to make it blow cold again. The car drives like a dream and floats down the freeway. Car comes with an original Cougar ball cap that was given to the original owner by the dealership when he bought the car. Overall it's a nice original car that any Ford/Mercury fan would be proud to own. Car is sold as is, where is by NoHo Scooters, INC. We are a licensed California dealer.
