Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a project we bought as is with the best intentions of working on it. But as things have gone in the last 5 months since we bought it customers cars come in and go out of the shop and anything of our person things sit. That fact is not pleasing me so I am going to sell all but 4 of our shops project cars and just focus on the customers hot rods and our 4. this is a 1964 ford falcon ranchero It is an original V-8 (260) 4 speed car. The previous owner has put an automatic in it. The motor is running. It is an all stock 260 small block with a new timing chain and tune up parts. To make it a driver it will need the following; a drive line, a master cylinder(possibly other brake parts like lines or wheel cylinders) a shift cable and that should do it. It has a nice bench seat and decent door panels. Has a B&M floor shifter mounted on the factory 4 speed tunnel hump. I looked under and over on this car. It has very little rust. 3 small sections about and inch or so big have been patched a while back from what it looks like. The bed under the inspection cover is solid as is the rest of the bed. Torque box's are very solid. Quarter panels are very solid. Paint is a bright poppy red(almost like a competition orange but more red). IT is bright. It is not a show job but looks sharp In the pictures the bumpers are on the car. They are now not on the car as we were going to send them out to be straightened and re-chromed. They have not been re done yet but are with the car. If the buyer wants to pay to have them done. we were quoted $325-375 per bumper with a 3 week turn around time If the buyer wants to pay $500 above the sale price of the car I will install the master cylinder & hook up the brakes so they work, have a drive line cut and installed and install a shift cable for the shifter so the ranchero will drive. In the pictures I have had a few different wheels on it to see what it would look like. The wheels that will be on the ranchero at the time of the sale will be the black steal wheels with the trim rings and center caps. I have all the paper work on the car from the state of Oregon. Please check with your state to see if the replacement title paper work will work for your state or if we have to get a new title first. That is not a problem for me to do for you but the fees to do so will need to be paid by the buyer. I can not think of anything else to say so if you have any questions feel free to ask. I want a $500 dollar deposit with in 24 hours of the sales end. If the buyer does not want to pay the extra $500 to make it a driving car I want the car picked up with in 30 days of the sales end. If you do want the work done we will talk after the sale to go over the days when we can do it. I want the balance paid with in 7 days of sales end. I do not want to use pay pal for the balance. if you have to please contact me before the sales end.On Jul-29-11 at 19:55:26 PDT, seller added the following information: We were just moving the ranchero up closer to the shop so it can either be picked up or worked on if the buyer wants since we looked and the reserve has been met. While doing so I was hooking the tow rope up under the front and noticed the following new items; upper ball joints, sway bar bushings, front shocks and rear shocks. I just wanted people to know that there were some nice new parts under it! Good luck bidding!
