Vehicle Detail
This is a Jeep that was used in the Civil Air Patrol(CAP), an auxilliary of the US AIR FORCE. It was kept in a hangar and has no rust. The body has been repainted to its original colors, and markings on the sides. The CAP put a new F Head motor in it, and created the hood scoop to make it fit. I had the engine fully rebuilt (have receipts), and has less than 500 miles. This Jeep also has the following replaced: New seat covers Rebuilt generator, and starter 6V New guages where the old were non-functional New bearings, main shaft, syncros, and second gear for the transmission(synchros grind between 2nd and 3rd even though new) Rebuilt carburator New gas tank New brakes and lines New chrome bezels and parking lamps New wiring harness Needs a tool box New clutch and pressure plate Undercoated with POR-15, and truck bed liner inside the body Much more..... It also has original military tires from 1952 This is an outstanding historical Jeep Note: mileage is not known to be accurate
