1995 Mercedes-Benz S-Class S420 W/ Sunroof This well-preserved, Garage kept, Beauty provides an S420 comfortable luxury ride. Has good interior, upholstery, carpets leather seats and headliner. Doors perfectly aligned and draw themselves in for that Mercedes sealed fit. Dashboard and visors good. Heated seats work. Has power windows, seats, locks and mirrors. Paint is good, with minor dings. Right rear door had a rust blister near the center of the door, has been repaired. (See Photo) Bumpers and chrome are good. Glass is good. Sunroof works and still seals good. #5 Aluminum rims. Front Tires should be changed… (the front two tires show signs of dry rot setting in) The rear two tires look good. Motor, Tranny and Breaks are good. We replaced upper arm assemblies, including ball joints, bushings and break pads about 10,000 mile ago. We changed the mass air flow sensor at the end of 2004. We have also replaced the battery, distributor cap, rotor and plugs. Starter just changed, Vacuum lines updated, and Fuel injector wiring harness just changed. We bought it in October of 2003 and only put 10k miles on it. We don’t use it any more. It’s been sitting still a while, but we start it and move it around regularly to make sure everything still works right. Runs great, but it does need some attention. A/C needs to be recharged, blows cool but not cold. BOSE radio not working but we do have the reset code with the owner’s manual. Rear passenger window roller guide cable is broken, but the motor still works. Right rear break pad sensor wire is broken and the ABS, ASR, & SRS dash lights stay lit. Head light wipers don’t work right. Minor scrapes see photos. All in all the car is sound and dependable. Could make a good gift. Manuals included.
