Vehicle Detail

I am selling the bulk of my collector cars to raise money for the expansion of my new self storage business. I have owned this MGB for about 2 years and only driven it to a few car shows. I presently own 5 MG's and will be selling 4 of them. I am really into driving my cars with the exception of those too nice to drive regularly. This one fits into that category. I just started it up after sitting for several months without use and she fired right up. It is that reliable. I only drove it out to the street to have it flatbedded up to my storage facility in Montague NJ. The car runs and drives excellent. Comes complete with spare tire on wire wheel, jack and tools, toneu cover. The overdrive works perfectly. As I recall there were some small issues with some of the gauges not working such as temp and fuel but I am not exactly sure. I did not consider these to be important enough or have the time to diagnose and repair these. I will try to find time to take her out for a ride and look into these issues. If I can, I will repair these prior to end of sale. As far as the rest of the car goes, you will be hard pressed to find a better example of a 1972 B. I have not found any rust issues at all and was told by previous owner that the car was completely rust free. I welcome any potential bidder to come drive and inspect the car personally prior to bidding. I am certain you will be most impressed by it's condition. The interior is Black Leather. I am reasonably sure these cars were not available with leather interior so this one was probably installed by a prior owner. The leather is in very good shape with no cracks or tears. The tires appear to be very close to new. As I said previously, I have not driven this car very much and not at all recently. I will be taking her out for a drive this week to get her detailed for the new owner. At that time I will have my mechanice go over the whole car and make sure everything is tip top. If he discovers any issues of any concern i will list them immediately. I do not anticipate any. The only significant defect I can find on this car is a splotch of paint that is missing on top of the drivers side rear quarter panel. There is no rust there. My body man said this was probably the result of not properly prepping the primer coat just prior to applying the paint. He has offered to repair this defect for $350. I may have this done prior to end of auction and post new pics if and when completed. As with most of my auctions, this is a no reserve auction. This means you are bidding to win. Car is sold as-is where-is with no warranty. So please complete any inspections and have funds available and any permissions you may need prior to bidding. A $500 deposit is required within 24 hrs. of auction ending and ballance due within 7 days. I will be happy to store the car free of charge for 30 days after which, if youd like to continue to store your new car with us, I'll be happy to work out an excellent rate to do so. Good Luck and happy bidding.
