We are maintenance fanatics and it shows with this SUV! I purchased this car new in February 2001. This model was made in Japan. It’s in excellent condition. I’ve used only synthic oil (Castrol Syntec) in this SUV since new with only Toyota brand oil filters. As a result, at 133,000 the engine uses no oil. All maintenance has been done at the factory recommended intervals or earlier. A list of maintenance is below. This car has always been garaged. This is the Limited model, so it includes all of the power and convenience features one would want (listed below). The stereo is the factory premium JBL 6 CD system with an addition of an iPod/iPhone adapter plus a mini-plug adapter for other digital audio devices. Gas mileage is good, as I average 20 mpg and 24 on the highway. Traction in all road conditions is superb, whether that be dry, wet or snow covered, as this SUV has VSC – Variable Skid Control, which is a combination of traction control with a Yaw sensor (detects sideways motion) that automatically keeps the car on course. This all means one thing – SAFETY. Other safety features include ABS, airbags for driver, passenger, including front seat side airbags. I’m selling because after 10 years of solid service, I decided to buy a new car – another Toyota! Tires on the car have about 50% of life left on them. Maintenance Items: · Timing belt changed at 90,000. Water pump replaced at the same time. (Water pump didn’t need to be changed but was since the mechanics were there, why not!) · Transmission and power steering systems power flushed in past two years, again didn’t need it but thought it would be good to keep everything clean and maintained. · Air Conditioner – evaporator core replaced one month ago (I wouldn’t sell the car without this in top shape). · Hoses and belts changed within past two years. · Battery replaced two years ago with Sears DieHard Gold. · New front disc rotors and pads one month ago. · Rear calipers, pads and parking brake pads replaced within 6 months. · Rear disc rotors one year ago. · All new brake lines 6 months ago (didn’t need them, but thought why not change them!) · Headlights are PIAA Extreme White bulbs (street legal and twice as bright as factory bulbs) · Wipers are PIAA super silicone. · K&N air filter (never needs replacement) Normal Wear Items: · Driver’s seat has three stress cracks on side and rear seat on driver's side has a very small burn mark. · Right rear mud flap has a crack (see photo) · A few minor scratches on front hood (see photo) Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time.
