Vehicle Detail

1968 Camaro with a 400 small block, 350 auto trans, 10 bolt rear end with 336 limited slip. It has air shocks and the mono springs in the rear. Car was restored about 26 years ago, it had new fenders, quarters, rockers, and trunk floor put on it. The engine was rebuilt at that time too, I dont know the specific engine components that were used inside the engine, it has an alum intake and a Holley 600 carb, with headers. Engine runs excellent and car drives great. It has manual drum brakes that work really good, and manual stearing. I have replaced the front wheel cylinders and most of the brake lines including the main line to the rear. I do have the original steering wheel that comes with the car too. The front end was also rebuilt at that time with new springs, shocks, bushings and ball joints. The front tires I bought new and the rear were used, but with good tread. the rear tires have some weather cracks on the side now though. The car was restored to a good driver car, it wasn't a show car as you can probably tell. The hood, trunk, fenders, quarters and rockers are all still in good shape, except for a couple dings here and there, and the quarters have some bubbles up on the top where they were installed and filler was used. The doors have some rust bubbles coming through in the corners, but dont look that rusted underneath. The paint has chips and scratches on the sides from sitting around for 26 years and stains from bird crap on the top areas of the car, from sitting outside during the summer for a couple years. the passenger fender has a small hole in it up front where the battery is located, because the battery wasn't secured down and slid up against the fender and shorted out on the fender. The only area under the car that was rusted is the trunk floor, that was replaced, and the drivers side floor board, that just has some flat sheet metal covering it. The rest is solid including the shock towers. The interior is in really good condition, except the carpet is faded and there is a hole under the drivers floor mat. The center console door is cracked, the dash pad has a small crack in it and there is a tear on the side of the drivers seat that you can probably see in the picture. The glass is all good except the windsheild has a single crack running from top to bottom on the passenger side. With all that said it might sound worse than it is, but the car actually still looks pretty good, and I think it can still be a good driver, without doing anything. I tryed to take pics of all the panels so hopefully you can see any defects The car is for sale locally so I have the right to end the auction early. Feel free to ask any questions I will do my best to accuratly descibe anything on the car.
