The 2001 Lexus IS300
Already one of the "classic" Lexus luxury sedans, the 2001 IS300 was introduced by Lexus to challenge the popular BMW 3-Series in styling and performance, but with a vehicle that was far superiorto the 3-Series in long-term reliability and cost of repair.
With its 3.0L inline 6-cylinder engine rated at 215 hp the 2001 IS300 clocked 0-60 in 7.1 seconds, very close to the 2001 BMW 330i. It's 5-speed automatic transmission with unique steering wheel mounted "E-shift" control (similar to a Formula 1 car) and well-balanced design produced comparable handling and overall feel to the BMW Models, ...but at a much lower cost of ownership.
Highlights of the IS300's luxury-appointed cabin include a chronograph gauge cluster, drilled aluminum pedals and exquisitely-placed metallic accents. Leather power seats for both driver and passenger,and a power tilt/slide moonroof round out its first-class driving experience.

This vehicle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
Deposit: The successful high bidder will submit a $500.00 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle.
Payment: Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable taxes and fees) within 7 days of the vehicle close of the auction. Items will not be available for pickup or shipping until full payment is received and cleared by our local bank.
Buyer's Refusal To Purchase: Unless this agreement is non-binding because the Seller is arranging credit for the Buyer, the Buyer understands that the cash deposit that the Buyer has given to the Seller can be retained, in accordance with the Seller's Refund Policy, to offset the Seller's damages if the Buyer refuses to complete their purchase. The Buyer also understands that the Buyer may be responsible for any other damages which the Seller may incur as a result of the Buyer's failure to perform their obligations under the terms of agreement to purchase.
Delays in Delivery: The Buyer understands that the Seller should not be liable for delays caused by the manufacturer, accidents, sureties, fires or other causes beyond the Seller's control. Provided the Seller promptly places the Buyer's order with the manufacturer and the manufacturer refuses to accept the order or fails to deliver the vehicle after accepting the order, upon the Seller's prompt notification and refund of the Buyer's deposit, the Buyer will not hold the Seller liable and this agreement shall be cancelled.
Change of Design: The Seller understands that the manufacturer has the right to change the design of the vehicle, its chassis, accessories or any parts at any time without notice to the Seller or the Buyer. In the event of such a change by the manufacturer, the Buyer shall have no duty to the Seller except to deliver the vehicle as made by the manufacturer.
Warranty: Unless the seller makes a written warranty on its own behalf, or enters into a service contract within 90 days from the date of this order. the seller makes no merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Exceptions 1) This provision does not affect any warranties covering the vehicle that the manufacturer or supplier may proved and 2) this provision does not limit any implied or other warranties imposed as a matter of law, (e.g. New York Lemmon Laws) and which are described under our Vehicle Purchase Agreement or a separate writing given in connection with my purchase of the vehicle. In addition, I understand that except as required by law, that you are not liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the sale of this vehicle.
Mileage: Mileage may vary due to onsite test drives. Please contact us to inquire about the exact mileage.
Shipping: Buyer is responsible to set up shipping or pickup of the vehicle. Exportation of vehicles are not prohibited for any newly titled vehicle from the manufacturer sold by the Seller. The Buyer agrees to indemnify and hold the seller harmless for any and all expenses, charges, assessments or penalties that the seller incurs as a result of the vehicle being exported.
Price Changes: The Buyer agrees that they will pay the final cash price as agreed to. If there have been any changes in the total cash price for any reason as aforementioned, then the Buyer will by the cash price delivered as changed by any such adjustments as aforementioned.
Returns: There are no returns on this item. All sales are final and binding pursuant to the laws governed in New York State. In the event of a failure to pay by the Buyer, the Buyer agrees to pay reasonable attorney fee's incurred by the Seller to collect the outstanding balance due.

Compliance of Agreement: The Buyer in consideration of Gault Chevrolet Co., Inc (Seller), agree, if requested by the Seller or someone on behalf of Seller, to fully cooperate and correct any clerical errors in any loan documentation or DMV paperwork executed in relation to this vehicle purchase.
No Other Agreements: There are no understandings or agreements between the Seller and the Buyer other than those set forth in this Agreement and attachments to this agreement, if there are any such attachments. If this Agreement is for a Used Vehicle, the information the Buyer sees on the Federal Trade Commission Window Form in part of this Agreement on the Window form overrides any contrary provisions in the Contract for Sale.
Availability: We reserve the right to remove this listing due to on-site sales.
Fee and Tax Information:
Dealer Fee of $75.00 is charged on every transaction for incidental expenses.
Taxes and Registration Costs: Taxes are charged on the State and County of residence in NYS OR IF Buyer is financing through our dealership. Otherwise cash out of state Buyers are responsible for their own taxes and registration fees when registering the vehicle. If the registration fees varies from the amount we have estimated, then the cash price delivered shall be changed accordingly.
New Vehicle Purchases: Are subject to a New York State Waste Tire Management and Recycling Fee of $2.50 per tire. A standard charge of $12.50 is due on any New Titled vehicle from our Manufacturer.
NYS Inspection Fee: NYS residents are subject to a $10.00 NYS inspection fee for models years of 3 years or newer. 4 years or older is $21.00.
