1971 Ford Torino : 302 V8 engine, C4 automatic transmission, power steering, lowering springs, new tires. With the patina paint, wicked stance, worn lettering this is one mean looking old Torino. I purchased this car from a private owner. I have clear notarized title. This car has the original paint from the factory which is showing its age, the paint is faded and patina with light scratches here and there. The passenger side rear quarter behind the rear tire has been patched. The driver side rear quarter panel at the beltline replaced with new quarter panel. The car has every piece of original trim and emblems still in place with the exception of the one piece of wheel well trim missing from the driver rear quarter. When the body shop replaced the quarter panel they accidently through away the old quarter panel with the wheel well trim on it. The vinyl top is original and is faded but completely intact. 3 inch progressive rate lowering springs from eaton springs, brand new firestone tires. The interior is completely original right down to the carpet and needs to be redone. i have seat covers installed because the seats need reupholstering. The carpet is worn and needs to be replaced. The dash is cracked which is why there is a dash mat in place. The rear bumper needs to be rechromed, the front bumper chrome is in excellent condition. The real selling points on the car are the condtion of the body and drivetrain, and how the car drives. The body is extremely straight with just a few small dings. Nothing to hide under the paint because it it is the ORIGINAL PAINT. -What you see is what you get. The only rust on the car was in the rear quarters which has been taken care of and a small rust spot on the top of the front passenger fender about the size of dime. The car rides and drives flawlessly. The engine is strong and is quiet and smooth. The car is is extremely impressive to drive. i would trust the car to drive anywhere. The heater, blinkers, headlights, taillights, windshield wipers, and even the windshield squirters all work. If you have any questions, please call Mitch at 406-250-6997.
