Re-listing because it was supposed to be sold locally and was not and because I tried to ride it today and the battery is dying. The battery the bike has is at the end. It is the original battery, and it is drained. All the lights work, but when you try to turn it over, you can hear the battery dying. This auction is for a 2001 Honda XR650L and it only has 524 miles on it. This bike is too big for me so I only rode it for one season. The bike is located on Nantucket island, another reason it has such low miles. It was hit in the driveway by my wife so some of the plastics were damaged (see pics), the front fender and side fender both have minor scratches. I fixed the one side marker but it needs the plastic around the headlight, I cant find one reasonably priced. Bike starts right up and idles fine, it does need to warm up though before riding. The reserve price is way under book value and how much I actually paid for the bike. Just want it out of the driveway and the rain. I have tried to explain the bikes condition best as possible. It is practically new and has only been knocked over but I am not a dealer! I am not giving 2 year warranty's with the bike!
