This is a 'no reserve' auction for a 1985 Lincoln TownCar. I volunteer for a homeless shelter, Step 13. www.step13.org We have a car donation program. This TownCar was donated to our program. As a result I don't have any history with it. But it does run. The exterior is in very good, if not great, shape. See pics. I believe it was repainted at some point in its life b/c the paint is so good. Interior definitely above average. It sat for a while so our mechanic cleaned out the gas tank and put in a new fuel pump and mount. He says there are some rust cracks on top seams of tank. But our guys have driven it and it seems good. Everything woorks that I checked: air, heat, windows. I probably missed something but just look at the trunk and you'll see it looks very well cared for. Clean. Please don't ask me if it'll make it to Memphis or Mount Rushmore. I have no idea. It's running now. That's about all I can say. I always suggest that people ship these vehicles since neither of us know alot about them. Odometer says 147K but title says '0'. Colorado DMV is famous for putting '0' in as mileage for cars more than 10 years old. We are a dealer so if you live in Colorado I'll need to charge the applicable tax. I'll also be selling it as a 'tow away' if you live in Metro Denver because I'm not sure about emissions. I think it's fine. It's not smoking but because it has not really been driven for a while I'd prefer to be safe and sell it as a tow away so I don't have to worry about emissions. If you're out of state we really need it picked up ASAP. We can't sit on it 2 weeks or a month waiting for you to fly out here. I understand auto transport is not an exact science but we'd like you to get on it quickly. Also, if it sells for less than $700 we'll be charging a $150 dealer handling fee. It's quite cumbersome to do all the retail paperwork and we'd like to make it cost effective for us. That's about all I can think of. Well.... we do have another posting for a 1985 Lincoln TownCar.
