Serious Bidders only Up for bid NO reserve 2001 Saturn SC2 Manual Black on Black Mechanics Special I owned this car until 42,000 miles and then sold it to a friend, he then used it for a work car for the past 6 years and the mileage on the car from 42,000 was all highway mileage due to his work location. He then sold it back to me because I am a mechanic and do work on the side hoping I could fix up and sell. I am too busy to mess with this car at this point so I am giving some other mechanic out there the same opportunity. My friend regularly kept up with routine maintence and fixed things when they were needed, overall once a new engine is in place , this car would be a great car for someone. The BAD: This is a very sharp car that NEEDS A MOTOR REPLACEMENT. The engine is locked up due to low oil. The passenger mirror unit needs replaced and the windshield is cracked. Needs tires The interior is dirty, but with time it could be very clean again. The driver side seat has a rip in the side of the seat, but could easily be sewn back together and fixed. Each of these fixes are fairly minor except for the replacement of the engine, but if you have the time YOU could get a great car on gas once it is fixed up. The cars can get upwards of 40 miles to gallon on the highway, and it could be a great work car or school car for someone. The GOOD: The car has a sunroof that DOES NOT leak and STILL works great. The car is pretty good shape for being 10 years old. With a wax job this car would be stunning again as it once was. Once the car is fixed , great gas mileage and great work car. The car is being sold as is , we do not have time to fix the car and have three existing vehicles. Our loss is your gain.
