I have a great 1975 Mercedes-Benz 240D for sale. I am looking to fix up an old 1972 Chevy pickup so that I will able to drive it instead of the Mercedes. This would be a great car for anyone, it runs great, has decent gas mileage (20+mpg), and is as dependable as the day is long. This is the type of car that waits for you to die rather than you waiting for it to die. I have driven it every day for over a year now and have never had a serious problem. The interior is in great condition, the only real problem is the dashboard which has some cracks in it. The body and paint on the car is in good condition as well, there is only one real dent is on the driver side front quarter panel. I have kept this car in great condition, and with only a little over 95,000 miles on it you know it has hundreds of thousands of more miles to go. Some things to know about the car; the air conditioning compressor is not hooked up (however it is in the truck ready to be installed), the driver side window rolls down but will not roll up, and lastly the windshield wiper fluid hose has a broken valve ( I have the old valve so it just needs to be replaced and the wiper fluid will work fine), other than those 3 things the car is in great shape. Addressing the mileage, when I purchased the vehicle in December of 2010 the seller told me that the mileage was accurate and with the way the car runs and drives I tend to believe him.
