Vehicle Detail

This is a beautiful sports vehicle that has been carefully maintained by its one owner and senior driver. I bought this vehicle from Kerbeck in Atlantic City, NJ in December 2002, and have always garaged it at my home in Tewksbury, MA. It has never seen ice or snow, or intentionally been taken out in the rain. The car has a clean title and has effortlessly passed Massachusetts safety inspection in May 2011. It has only seen preventative maintenance, and dealer warranty fixes. As you may know, this car comes through with all of the niceties that would be expected of a 2003 vehicle with a $51,955 manufacturers suggested retail price. That list price included the Z06 package, plus memory package, the three electro chromic mirrors, and the factory front license plate frame. In addition to power steering, brakes, windows, driver seat, and door locks, the car comes with heated power mirrors, active handling, driver information center and countless other comfort, safety, and convenience features. A lengthy list of amenities is displayed on the original window sticker, which comes with the vehicle. Since this is a one owner car, and a 50th Anniversary edition of when the first Corvette was made, the next owner will receive all of the delivery and commemorative decoration. This includes the window sticker, emissions rating, dealer to buyer transfer forms, certificate of origin, the serial number specific Corvette instructional CD, the Z06 version of the owners video, the 50th Anniversary owners manual, and the Corvette brochure, including an in-depth tour of the 2003 Corvette and a year to year history of all 50 editions built to that time. All of this original documentation goes to the second owner of this great Corvette. Since I have previously owned a 1963 Coupe, a 1969 427 Convertible, and a 1996 Grand Sport, I appreciate the value of proper maintenance and retention of Corvette documentation. I have added some visual enhancements that are shown in the attached photos. For example, I flush mounted the original tail lights, added a chrome rear license plate frame and body color matching front license plate frame, added a chrome transmission cover, added original GM wheels chromed by Ecklers/Corvette Mike, a shorty antenna, drilled and slotted brake rotors and chrome rotor hats, and ceramic brake linings to reduce dust clinging to the wheels. I believe these subtle changes really enhance the beautiful Electron Blue Metallic paint, and the car. A removable dual cup holder also adds to the touring pleasure of this car. No one has ever smoked in this vehicle. One wheel has some slight curb rash, which led to my decision to replace all tires with Firstone Firehawk wide ovals in March 2007, since those tires have a curb guard molded into the tire side wall. I love these tires. Unfortunately, I picked up a nail on my left rear tire and replaced that one tire in April 2010 with a new Firehawk. The nail puncture was at the outer edge of the tread and could have been a safety issue, if repaired. That one replacement tire has slightly more tread remaining than the other three, but all have plenty of tread remaining. This car has never had any body or paint work since it was new. There are some very minor paint chips and scratches that I can point out, but otherwise no defects that are obvious. The interior is also very clean and has needed no repair. I can again point out interior anomalies that a sane person would not notice. This vehicle has brought home a slew of first place show class trophies. It is in excellent condition. I would like the winning bidder to send me a $500 deposit within 48 hours of the bidding close. The best way may be on your credit card through PayPal. Final payment should be made by PayPal, or by certified bank check or cash. My bank is Bank of America, and I would prefer their check, or PayPal. I am reasonable, but would like us both to be comfortable with the transaction. I would try to accommodate an airport pickup, or any reasonable accommodations to make the transaction go smoothly.
