Up for sale today is a really nice 1979 Jeep Cherokee two door. Please keep in mind when looking at it that it is exactly that, a 32 year old vehicle. I will be happy to answer any and all questions about the truck and list it as I see it. First the good. Strong 360 v-8 motor, auto trans, and full time quadratrac four wheel drive. All in good running order. I would honestly do a tune up to be great. The truck has a 6" lift and runs on 20" wheels and 37" tires. Tires are in great shape and have 80-85% tread all the way around. I bought this truck as a project and here is what it needs- I just welded in a new floor over the old rusty one. Plans were to seal it then rhino line it so that needs to be finished. I also bought two really decent bucket seats for the front, I have custom built the drivers side bracket and installed the drivers side seat but the passenger seat has not been installed yet. Third the back window does not roll down(I have not gotten to the point where I could take it apart and figure it out.) Also the wipers dont work. Other than that, there is a custom steel dash with brand new guages that work well. This truck will pretty much go wherever you want. The body is not perfect, there are some rusty spots on the lower parts of the vehicle where most 30 year old cars but over all not a bad body.If you want extra pics of a particular area let me know.
