I have a 1971 triumph spitfire Mark IV for sale. I bought this car in 2005 from a neighbor. Lots of fun, put about 2500 miles on it that summer and decided to restore it...yea, that was 2005. So onto 2011 it's been stored in my garage ever since and I want my garage back. It is 100% complete and did run when I put it in the garage. It needs a battery but I am not selling its as a runner. Great parts car or if you want to fix it , it would be a nice one to do. 1971's are not that common and I believe have less made than the other years, but don't quote me on that. This was the first year of the new body style and all is stock as I bought it. Engine is not frozen and will turn over but needs battery. Like I said everything worked when I drove it last. If your buying for parts, engine is complete and has 48,000K on it but I cannot confirm that is original, transmission complete and shifted fine, tires are almost new (2500 on them), no dry rot. Seats need recovering but frames are ready for new foam and leather.. I have a 1979 Spitfire 1500 and had the seats recovered for $500 with foams..a box of parts in the trunk come with it....come and get it.........
