The little old lady's car...our project that ran out of time & energy. This is a true 14,440 mile gem that sat in a garage for 12 years, last registered in 1999. My daughter & I bought it to see what we could do with it. The car is the 2.2 liter with an automatic transmission. Car is registered and has a clean title; car is exempt from CT emissions testing. After plugs, wires, radiator, fuel tank, front brake rebuild, new locks (could not locate keys when bought from the estate) and an EGR valve we got her running pretty well. The car has a vacuum and/or carburetor issue that causes a run rich condition, low idle and cold weather stalling at idle. When I get her going she's a lot of fun though at speed. I do not trust the car to drive too far so I'd recommend transporting it and will not be responsible if you do opt to drive it away. Interior is good. Body and frame are rust-free but the little old lady scraped it up a bit so there are a lot of bumps and bruises including what appears to be a broadside of buckshot (yes, buckshot) on the passenger side. If you are handy with a carburetor then this is a ridiculously great buy. I'll take $250 within 24 hours by PayPal and the balance in cash/cashier's check at the time of pick up.
