1984 Volkswagen Westfalia. Automatic, 1.9 water cooled engine. This is a true survivor with the original paint seen in photos. This vehicle has been in the family since 1992, we bought from my aunt in '05 with 135,000 miles on it, it now has 140,365. This vehicle looks and smells clean. There is no rust evident anywhere on the body, you won’t find one this solid in the northeast. There are a few minor scratches and bumps, see pics. To the best of my knowledge the engine has never been out of it. It has been used twice a year since we've had it, Jimmy Buffett concert and friends' campout. ALL original interior. Includes all curtains and back door screen. Note pics for tears on driver's seat upholstery. Dometic fridge works on AC and DC, we have never tried to use it with the propane. Sink and stove work fine. Pop up has been patched but does not leak. The vehicle does have a few issues - starts and runs fine, but will not start hot. Seems to get a vapor lock or something. When turning on the blower for the defroster and the wipers at the same times, it is blowing a fuse. I suspect a bad ground but have never dug into it. Lastly, when filling with fuel, if you fill tank to the top you will get a fuel leak that seems to come from the top of the tank. This bus marks it's territory. All in all this would be a great vehicle for someone who wants to spend a little time on these minor mechanical issues. Please bid with confidence. This is a used vehicle and by no means perfect.
