Vehicle Detail

Hello and thanks for looking at my 1949 Chevy 3100 Half Ton Pickup Truck. I have been working on this truck for 18 months and have done more work to this truck than I can probably remember. I started replacing parts to make the truck drivable but most importantly safe. I will try and list what I have replaced with new parts from LMC Truck. Brakes: New Master Cylinder 4 New Wheel Cylinders Every Piece of Brake line on the Entire Truck All New Shoes at Every Wheel All New Brake Hardware All Rubber Brake Hoses Suspension: All 8 Leaf Spring Shackles All 8 Leaf Spring Bushings All New Bolts and Hardware New King Pins All 8 U-Bolts All 4 Shocks are new KYB I laid on the ground and painted the whole bottom of the truck and the frame with black and gray rustoleum paint. Engine: New Carburetor New Fuel Pump New Water Pump New 4 Core Aluminum radiator Rated for 1,000 Horsepower Complete Tune Up (Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Points, Condenser, Fuel Filter, etc. . .) New Radiator Hoses and V Belt New Fuel Lines from the gas tank to the Carburetor New Fuel Cap New Radiator Cap New Choke Cable Electrical: New 12 Circuit Street Rod Wiring Harness New Headlights New Reproduction Tail Lights New Universal Turn Signal Switch New Parking Lights converted to Parking Lights and Turn Signals New Headlight Dimmer Switch New Brake light Switch New Universal Ignition Switch New Horn The Entire Truck is 100% Completely re-wired with Brand New Wire Body: The Majority of the work I have completed has been welding in new replacement panels. New Outer Cowl Panels (Driver and Passenger) New Middle Cowl Panels (Driver and Passenger) New Inner Cowl Panels (Driver and Passenger) New Floor Pans (Driver and Passenger) New Front Cab Mounts (Driver and Passenger) New Inner Cab Corners (Driver and Passenger) New Outer Cab Corners (Driver and Passenger) Bed was reinforced and relined with 1/8 inch steel Plate There is NO Bondo in this truck, you can see exactly what you are getting All 9 Pieces of Glass were just replaced with Tinted Glass New Wiper Blades and Arms New Custom Fit Rubber Floor Mat New Pedal Pads and Starter Button Pad I am sure there is more I am overlooking but this sums up the major things I have done. Please keep in mind this is still a project and is not a completed project. The truck still has a few minor things that need fixed. Some small things that come to mind is the fuel gauge reading is off, the original temperature gauge reads hot (that's why I have the mechanical one temporarily mounted on the dash, the truck runs cool with the new 4 core aluminum radiator), the body panels need re-aligned, the passenger window rolls down part way on its own, I think the regulator is worn out but the window rolls up and down very nicely, driver door doesn't open from the inside handle but works perfectly from the outside, and the rubber seal that seals the fuel filler neck to the tank needs replaced. As you can see the work that was done compared to the minor things it still needs done is very minimal. I am trying to be completely honest about the truck and not hide anything. Please remember this truck is a 1949 and is not brand new. Please don't call to talk to me if you are expecting the truck to be in perfect condition. This is still a project that needs minimal work. If you are interested in the truck please give me a call so we can talk all about it. I will answer any questions you have. Clear and Clean Pennsylvania Title in Hand!!! Thanks for looking, Dave 724-777-6416On Jul-05-11 at 10:40:56 PDT, seller added the following information: Since so many people have asked me what the reserve price of the truck is I decided to add it to my listing. Reserve price is $7500.00. This is a very fair reserve considering all of the new parts and the hundreds of hours I have in the truck. I just got the truck back a few days ago from getting all of the glass replaced, that alone was $1,000. I also forgot to ad the truck has been converted to 12 volt and has a brand new GM 1 Wire Alternator. Thanks again for looking! On Jul-08-11 at 14:51:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve Just Lowered to $6,000!!!
