This is a reasonably conditioned truck. Body is straight considering the age and shows little more than the signs of time and use. Vortec engine has new heads as replacement seemed reasonable a couple of years back when one of the head gaskets had disappointed me. Interior of truck is not the cleanest but the seats and headliner are free of tears. Truck has tow package which is a plus. 4WD is push button activated(I thought they all were until recently). I have enjoyed this truck thouroughly since I purchased it in 2001. The cost of insuring two vehicles is really what it comes down to as I am making the decision to let her go. The tuck is titled in Pennsylvania as that is where I am from. I am now living in Island Lake, IL60042 where the truck is located currently. Feel free to post any questions as I am not interested in selling someone something they were not expecting. Pasted below is just some information I took from the Kelley Blue Book website. If you find it helpful in making a decision great otherwise everything can be negotiated. PLEASE EXCUSE THE FACT THAT THE HOOD IS OPEN IN PICS. IT CLOSES FINE. COMPLETE OVERSIGHT ON MY PART. I have added the information below in response to questions I have been asked since the truck was listed. Please feel free to ask me for any information you feel is necessary in coming to a decision to purchase or pass on the truck. I really want someone to be satisfied with their decision and I will do anything I can to get them there. The duplicate title that was issued for the truck was due to a need that arose after a move. I could not find the title and it was necessary to apply for a duplicate. I have the title now and it is clear of any liens ready for transfer. It is a Pennsylvania title. I dont see how this could be an issue I just thought it might be interesting to someone. I will post the pictures of the engine, back seats this morning. As for the floorboards, I will not be able to crawl under the truck until tonight after work. It will not be a problem. The rust on the truck is mostly blemishes like for example on the bumper there is a small spot that you can see looking at the rear of the vehicle. There is also a very minor occurence located near the base of the door. The 4 wheel drive works very well. I just went through a Winter in Illinois that brought a lot of snow. The truck got me through all of it with out any issues. I love the truck for that and I am really going to miss that bit of fun. It is a really nice feeling being on time for work when everyone else is staying home. In the time that I have owned the truck I have needed to replace the alternator. It failed the day after I bought the truck if you can believe it. The exhaust was replaced right before I bought it and other than normal maintenace there hasnt been much I can report. As far as the accident thats reported on the autocheck report, I really had to think to remember it. It was a very low speed bump that resulted in absolutely no damage to the truck. I should also mention that years ago someone punched or kicked the drivers side fender which I had fixed and painted. The guy who did the work didnt do the best job and there are some cracks in the body filler he used to patch the holes that were made pulling the dent straight. Still looks pretty good. Nothing really to new. I was asked to show that the hood does close correctly. I don't blame people for wanting to see this. I didnt realize what I had done in the first place. The pictures were taken just as the sun was starting to go down and it was starting to rain. Please look at them for understanding the straightness of the front end. The pictures I uploaded earlier make the interior look REALLY good and I just want to be clear that the carpets are at a minimum due for a serious shampooing. Maybe I am being too critical but I want the buyer that cant see the vehicle in person to get the best understanding of the vehicle possible. There aren't, as I said, any tears in the interior. I think these photos capture the idea that although the fender is straight there is a crack in the paint/bodywork. I hope this clears up any questions about the condition.
