Up for sale is my beautiful 1971 numbers matching Chevelle SS. This car is original other then one repaint many years ago, the build sheet shows that it would have had black stripes but it truely is a true numbers matching SS. It has a 270 HP 350 that has been slightly modified through the years with a cam, flat top pistons & early double hump heads. It has a strong turbo 350 with12 bolt posi with 2.73:1 gears. I am the third owner and have a folder with a complete documentation back to new, including build sheet, protecto-plate & original window sticker. The frame is solid as are the rockers, doors and floors. The trunk pan is rough , as are both quarters & fenders. This car is either a project or drive as is. She starts and runs & drives great. Wheels have been blasted & painted and tires have less than 500 mi. A new gas tank is included as the one in the car leaks slightly at the seam.
