1970 Chevelle SS 454 Cranberry Red Black Bucket seats M22 What could be more iconic than a 70 Chevelle SS 454 that came from the factory bright red with black buckets seats and a cowl induction hood. There wasn't that many LS5's made so how many Cranberry Red 4 speed projects are left? Not very many I am sure. This might be your last chance to get one without a huge price tag! This is a good solid project. The floors are in good shape except where the shifter was and a stop by the drivers feet. The car will need quarters and outers. Deck lid has rust as well as the trunk pan. However it is not ate up but I would replace it anyway. The rockers are in good shape. Looks good around the windows, I am sure that they are not perfect because the rear window has silicone around it. Drivers door has rust I would replace it. Fenders were thrown away by previous owner. Hood is good except for dent in the front. Grill is good. Dash is in good shape, however there is a aftermarket radio installed. Original 12 bolt posi rear end still in car. It does have bolt on ladderbars from the 80s. The f41 arms are still on the car,however the sway bar is missing. All the disc brakes are still present as well as the pwer steering pump with big block brackets. Also the big block rag joint still on car as well as the F41 front bar. The muncie 4 speed included with the car was reported to be good. Also included in the sale is a 78 big block engine out of a pickup truck- It will need to be rebuilt. MISSING ITEMS-- The following items not normally replaced during a restoration are. -rear sway bar-wheels-console-steering wheel-radio-and of course the original engine and trans.
