Here is a very clean, two owner, 1983 VW Rabbit L, Fuel Injected!! This Rabbit is equipped with the gasoline 4 cylinder, 1.7L motor, and a 4 speed manual transmission!! The body is very clean. The paint on the car shines and looks great, please see pictures!! The car has lived most of it's life here in Southern Oregon, No rust!! There are however some small blemishes in the paint and body around the car, expected for the age of the vehicle, which have been touched up with the factory paint by the second owner who owned the car since 1985. Also, there is a small dent on the drivers side fender, next to the molding, please see pictures. This Rabbit has been adult owned and was never abused! The interior is in good condition! The dashboard is in good shape, no cracks, the carpet as well as the door panels are in good shape as well, please see pictures. The windshield is in great shape, no chips and no cracks. The drivers side seat has some tears in the fabric, please see pictures, the rest of the seats are in good shape. The headliner is stapled up and has been pulled off both the rear pillars, please see pictures. The fuel guage and the stereo do not work. The motor starts and runs good, just serviced. The transmission shifts smooth. First gear is a little tight at times as with all Rabbits, just need to put it in second and than it slides into first just fine. There are no leaks. The brakes work great as well. Please keep in mind that this Rabbit has not been driven much in the past few years and might need to have some small things fixed, depending on the new owner. The Federal tires are old and should be replaced in the near future. Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and is not in new condition!! Please expect normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and miles, this is not a brand new vehicle and it is not in like new, or perfect condition!!
