Vehicle Detail

***PRICE LOWERED TO $500 ABOVE WHOLESALE PRICE BECAUSE OF NEW BUYER REQUIREMENT. MY TRUCK CURRENTLY HAS A LIEN FROM THE FINANCING BANK (M&T BANK). IF YOU WANT A LIEN RELEASE ON THE DAY YOU PICK UP THE RANGE, YOU MUST PAY CASH AT THE M&T BRANCH (M-F ONLY/9AM-5PM). IF YOU CANNOT PAY CASH, THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO SUBMIT CERTIFIED CHECK TO BANK WHICH WILL REQUIRE AT LEAST 3 DAYS FOR THEM TO RELEASE THE LIEN. ALSO, I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE UP TITLE UNTIL YOUR CERTIFIED CHECK CLEARS, IN THE EVENT IT'S A FAKE CHECK. SO, I PREFER CASH BUYER BECAUSE IT MAKES THIS TRANSACTION MUCH SIMPLER. THEFORE, PRICE LOWERED TO $500 ABOVE WHOLESALE. IF SOMEONE DOES NOT PURCHASE THIS TRUCK AT THIS ABSURD PRICE, THEN I WILL WHOLESALE. DO NOT SEND ME OFFERS, THEY WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED (UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY THE ORIGINAL WHEELS).*** It’s finally time to sell my beloved 2005 Range Rover. I purchased this truck on May 7, 2007 from Land Rover of Huntington. It was a Land Rover Certified off-lease vehicle with roughly 30,000 miles and one owner. As the second owner, I drove this vehicle an additional 80,000 miles (mostly highway and no off-road), and it’s been an amazing experience. I am sad to see it go, but I’m ready to “freshen up” the driveway with a new truck. This Rover has no major mechanical defects(that I’m aware of) and drives as if it’s brand new. The brakes pads and sensors are basically new, the truck passed state inspection last month, I just did an oil change, and as of yesterday no major defects could be found. Notes about Range Rovers & Repairs: Range Rovers have the highest repeat customer loyalty of luxury SUVs, however, they are not the most reliable. These vehicles are complicated and break. Any seller that tells you otherwise is lyind and be cautious of dealers claiming the trucks to be in "mint condition," or anything like that. Many of the indepedent dealers will disguise problems or not disclose them. While these trucks have issues, they are worth the occasional aggravation, as they are simply the best SUVs manufactured! And with ebay, you can buy just about any part and save big. With that said, below are some of the issues I’ve had in the past. This Range Rover is unique because it virtually became “new again” at 62,000 miles! Read below: What makes this Range Rover Unique: Two years ago, with roughly 62,000 miles on the truck, a coolant hose became completely disconnected and this resulted in an engine overheat situation. This was the result of a repair (just 2 days prior) where the Dealership technician did not properly tighten the coolant hose. Subsequently, Land Rover had to replace the vehicle’s engine, radiator, and several other items all with factory parts and with factory technicians. This repair, which Land Rover covered under their extended warranty, cost over $20,000! This means my Rover’s engine and other vital components have only ~50,000 miles of use! What’s been Replaced/Recently Maintained in my Rover since my ownership began and when (note that mileage when repair occurred are rough estimates): · BMW Engine (62,000 miles) · Radiator (62,000 miles) · Water Pump (90,000 miles) · Catalytic Converter (103,000 miles) · Alternator (62,000 miles) · Battery (62,000 miles) · Front Grill (80,000 miles) · Front Windshield (103,000 miles) · Stereo/Nav Factory Reprogramming (64,000 miles) · Front/Rear Brakes (107,000 miles) · All 4 Wheels & Tires (87,000 miles) · Bluetooth Module (69,000 miles) · Driving Axel (65,000 miles) – Recall · Engine Belts (85,000 miles) · New Door Handles (69,000 miles) · Coolant Hoses/Leak - 6 hour repair (107,800 miles) · Oil Change (107,800 miles) · Fuel Injector (107,800 miles) This vehicle also includes: · BMW Engine that was only included on 2005 Models. · Included Accessories & Extra Factory Options as stated below. Any Accidents?: Last year (December 2009), the vehicle was rear-ended in a minor collision. The damage claim did not even exceed $600 and was only for the rear bumper to be painted. This accident will show on the Carfax report. Minor Issues: This vehilce drives/handles perfects, and has no error lights or any indication of the below issues. However, I am an honest seller, and I am choosing to disclose any/all issues because it's the right thing to do. Any item that is not on this list means I cannot find any fault: · Passenger Cup Holder – The passenger cup holder will not automatically eject. You can manually open, but if you close, you will need to manually pull it out again. · 4WD Low Gear Switch – When you put the vehicle in 4WD Low (which I’ve probably done 3 times in 4 years), the vehicle will go into 4WD Low Mode (as it should). However, when you pull the switch again, you need to pull it at the "right angle" otherwise the truck will not exit 4WD Low mode. This could require several pulls to get it to work, it’s very annoying. I am choosing not to replace this switch as cost wise it doesn’t make sense and I would advise the new owner to leave the Low Gear mode alone (or replace the switch) as it's basically a useless feature. Also, just to clarify, 4WD Low Gear is not the same as the vehicle height adjustment. · Dash – The bottom LCD on the dash that displays the time/date is not evenly illuminated when the backlit is activated - it's a minor variation that does not affect visibility at all, and cost wise is not worth replacing. · Radiator - My technician found a small leak in the radiator. He sealed it, but it could need a replacement in the future (note that if you need a new radiator, you can get them cheap on ebay) · When my technician put a new fuel injector in the truck, he noticed there is a "weeping head gasket" on the drivers side. My technician believes this could be an issue at some point in the distant future, or may never be an issue. But again, with the same as radiator, get the parts on ebay. Outside of the above issues, the truck has no other issues. It's been throughly inspected and kept in premium condition for the past four years. Included Accessories: · Range Rover Supercharged Grill (Original Grill available as well) · Upgraded 19” Range Rover Wheels with only 20,000 miles on them (Original wheels/tires available for $350) Included Factory Options: HEATED ACCESSORIES PKG, -inc: heated steering wheel, heated front/rear seats Questions?: Please message me with any questions regarding this vehicle. Also, keep in mind, the actual mileage will be slightly higher upon acquisition date as I'm still driving the Range.
