Up for sale is my 1985 Chevy C10 LWB. This is a project vehicle and has mechanical and body issues that keep it from being street legal and operational. I bought it from the original owner’s son with the intentions of restoring it. I just don’t have the time or money for it. This is a no reserve auction so bid to win! Body- The body of this truck is about average for an old pickup. It has the normal scratches, dings, rust dents, and paint issues of a 26 year old truck as pictured. The front and rear bumpers have some damage. The tailgate has a large dent in it. The driver’s side door was bent inward with it ajar and does not open. The passengers bedside was scraped against something at one point. The inside of the bed is in good shape with normal scratches. This truck has dual fuel tamks Interior- The interior of this truck is in average shape for a 26 year old truck. The dash is cracked floormats are faded the carpet has some wear and cigarette burns, the drivers side of the seat is ripped. As far as I know the gauges, radio, and power windows and locks work, but the windows are the little slow. The headliner is missing. Mechanical-The engine is a 305 v8 I was told the engine was rebuilt in 2007. The radiator hoses, belts power steering hoses and plug wires appear to be newer. The truck had a new A/C sysrem installed in the summer of ’09. The truck starts right up, but will need a battery. The transmission is shot. The previous owner drove it without knowing and burnt it up. It has no reverse or and will not shift out of first. It will need rebuilt or replaced. The suspension is tight and seems to ride smooth for an older pickup. The truck is factory equipped with an H.D. radiator and trans cooler along with H.D. springs, brakes and a 3:73 rearend. The frame and undercarriage have normal surface rust. The tires are Hankook whitewall radial H714 235 75 15 with about 1,000 miles on them. The truck also comes with the original sales invoice, registration and service and warranty information. The truck has a clear KS title. Buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery, or I may be able to deliver for the right price. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction close. The envelope that I got in the mail from the ks dept. of revenue a while back that I thought was the C10 title turned out to be the title to my atv. I will be sending it out tomorrow.
