For sale is a 1977 Vega hatchback street legal race car. I have been building this car since march of 08. Don't want to sell it but I need the money for payroll It only has one 9.856 run on it and 8 street miles before it scared my 33 year old daughter to almost to death. This thing is 550 hp hurt your guts fast! This vehicle has the FIRST ORIGINAL prototype Corvette Chevy 350 engine designed and built in 1965 by Chevy's camshaft designer and father of the Corvette Zora Duntov. It is now a balanced roller 355 motor. Compression is 11.39 (NO PUMP GAS) only the good smellin gas, aluminum 68.97cc heads, 2.02 intake, 1.60 exaust valves and large tube Hooker Headers. 780cfm Holly square bore dbbl pumper carb on a Hurricane single plane intake manifold. It has digital ignition with the rev limiter set at 6400 RPM for breakin. The trans is a turbo 350 built to the hilt w/trans brake. The car is tubbed and back halved with a 4-link suspention, freshly installed Dana 60 shortened rearend with brand new 14" wrinkle wall slicks. It needs wheele bars not yet installed. It carries the front end about 50 feet on a launch. I have an easy 12,000 in this car. This car does need a role cage. I have all engine documentation, dyno specs, flow charts, ect.
