Up for auction is my 1988 BMW 635 CSI this car was my project car and I have been working on it for a little over a year; unfortunately I don't have enough time to work on this car to get it where it should be and that is the reason why I am selling it.(I have driven this car on the highway at 90 mph without any problems other than a little vibration because of lack of proper wheel alignment) Please have in mind that the odometer reads 11,958; however I do not know whether or not the mileage is accurate, the odometer has been working fine since I purchased the car early last year (I have put in around 1000 miles in the car since I bought it). So I urge to please don't make your decision solely on this fact since I have no way to confirm the mileage is accurate. Several of the repairs and assessments have been done by qualified BMW technicians and I have the receipts and paperwork to prove it, all the parts that have been replaced are New OEM for wear and tear items and some used parts for cosmetic items: Work done during the past year: Driver and passenger seats were redone, Cap and rotor, Oxygen sensor, driver side door lock, upper radiator hose, fan , fan clutch, spark plugs, water pump, air intake boot, upper timing cover gasket, valve adjustment, transmission was serviced , fuel relay, belts, oil and filter change between others. The car's engine runs strong and the transmission sifts very well, the car is equipped with the TRX tire package from a 1988 M6 and it looks great!!!. The front seats were redone and this is the work that has been done to the car within the last year: The car does have some issues; this is a list of what I have found and I know it needs to be taken care of I have looked into most of them and I wish I could take care of this myself - The summary below is extremely detailed and even better than what Capital Eurocars BMW provided me when I got the car checked a year ago: The car needs to be repainted, the sunroof has a minor leak, the sunroof motor needs to be replaced, the heater blower needs to be replaced (I have an used replacement that I will be happy to include for the winning bidder), passenger side window motor needs to be looked at (It goes down but you have to assist it to go up), rear passenger side window motor needs to be replaced (I have an used replacement that I will be happy to include for the winning bidder), self leveling suspension needs to be looked at (sometimes it goes up and down, I was told that is a speed sensor). Dashboard has a few sun cracks. 3 of the tires have a good amount of thread left, they are very old and they will need to be replaced. The light bulb for the trip computer needs to be replaced, the car has a few rust spots (all of them easily repairable as per the estimates I have received), A/C needs to be recharged, windshield wipers connection needs to be looked at (The wipers work however only at two speeds through an additional switch installed for this purpose, also the water hoses are disconnected and the windshield washer reservoir bottle needs to be replaced). Driver side electric seat does not recline (Motor might be disconnected), passenger side seat needs to be looked at (Doesn't move all the way to the front). Front bumper has a crack. The car also needs a wheel alignment. ABS light is on (I have been told it might be the wheel sensors but have not been confirmed). The carpet needs to be cleaned as well as the upholstery in general. I took don the inside sunroof panels to assess the leak and find the source as well as to replace the sunroof motor, I can put it back together or can leave it as is so your mechanic or yourself will save about 1 hour worth of work.
