I have owned this vehicle since November of 1994 and it has given me excellent service over the years. Car has original paint and has been in no accidents. There is very little rust, the only rust I could find is on the top metal band across top of windshield (see pic). There may be some other some small spots but there is nothing serious. Car does have a slight oil leak but does not seem to burn oil. I change oil every 3000 miles and do not add oil between changes. I just tuned up engine with plugs, rotor, cap, air filter and PCV and runs very well. I have also just replaced tires and battery. Car does show wear and age but overall looks good. The emergency brake cable is missing and needs replacement. Brakes do work well and do not pull but likely will need some brake work in the near future. Car runs straight with no pulling to right or left. This car is in desperate need of a new convertible top-see tears and tape on window. However, the interior stays dry even with the top situation. I have not retracted top for several years because of top condition. The two front bucket seats have tears in bottoms (see pictures). Passenger seat belt does not retract but is there (possible needs spring work). The door handle on the passenger side is detached and needs a new door clip for reattachment. The door lock button on the passenger side is missing but the plate is there. Cooling fan was designed to operate with a thermostat automatically but I wasn't sure it always came on as it should so I installed a manual control to start and stop. This can be a problem if you forget to turn the fan off. The top of dashboard is a replacement and has suffered sun damage as did the original. Car is located in western Howard County in Maryland and is available for pickup only. You may come out and take a look at it if you give me a call to set up a time at 410-489-2916. On Jun-30-11 at 11:24:58 PDT, seller added the following information: Car has factory air conditioning but it is not working, needs parts and work. Car is being sold not Maryland state inspected inspected. The car needs emergency brake cable and possibly other work done to pass state inspection although it does drive well as it is. In Maryland, car is registered as antique and therefore does not need state inspection or emissions test to operate. State inspections will be responsibility of buyer if you desire to have it done. I am not sure about antique status in other states and whether you will need to get any tests there. Car did pass emissions test about 6 years ago when it had its last test.
