You are bidding on a 1970 Chevelle SS. First question is it a real SS? Who knows, without the original engine or build sheet you cant prove it. So call it what you want. The car has the following-factory disc brakes-F41 with rear sway bar and boxed lowers-12 bolt rear end-round dash (non tach) factory ss hood-old ss emblems-factory dual exhaust brackets. The car has new floor boards,trunk pan quarters with outers and filler panel. The gray is epoxy primer. If you donot what the wheels deduct $300 from the total price. Car was an air car but most is missing. Car has a good start to being a nice car. The engine is a 71 396 out of a chevelle ss 854 block. Heads are something else. Ran when taken out a year or so ago. Turbo 400 is a short shaft that worked well when taken out. Car was orignally white with black top and bench seat. Shift pattern is on speedometer. Car now has two bucket seat and console. Steering column has been changed also to floor shift. Sturrip shifter included. I am missing the windsheild-radiator-back seat Please feel free to come see the car, I live 1 hour north of Indy.
