Vehicle Detail
Basically I bought this car for 1700 dollars and paid another 300 for some addition body parts. There is no title, but will come with a bill of sale. Anyone who restores cars knows that titles can be made for cars easily through companies. It sat in a barn for 30 years. I bought it about 10 months ago and it was a bad decission. I no longer have room for this vehicle, but would have loved to restore it because it is very solid. All the frames are perfect and rust free. The cowl area and firewall is also rust free which isn't very common for this car. Has all the glass except the winshield. 95% of the car is there. More parts come than with the pictures. No trunk lid but easy to find. Basically both quarters need to be replaced and full floors on each side as well. As well as a small section in the right hand side of the trunk. Roof is rust free with only a few small dings. Doors have been put in etch primer and are 100 % rust free. Work already done to them. But bodywork needs fine tuning. Two front fenders are 99% rust free. Only a small amount of surface rust on bottoms of fenders. But when I mean surface. I mean barely any rust. Supports are amazing condition as well. On fender has a small 3" x 6" piece cut out of it and will need an easy patch. For some reason it rusted through there. Very odd. Hood is rust free. All lips are clean. Does have a hole where a hood scope went but a scope will easily cover that with the xr7 models like this car is. Also had hood pins installed. No trans. It was a c4 consle shifter. Have the full console as well as 98% of interior. Dash is immaculate. White interior. It had a 302. Dont have that original motor. But i do know the location of the block if interested. If $2000 is paid for the car I will include a 460 block which i was planning on using in this build. Also have a 68 mustang 9" rear with axels that bolts right in. No differential tho. Very rare and expensive. Car currently has open 8". HAve complete front grill and a few duplicate parts to it. Believe I have the valences but not sure. Have a pretty nice front bumper and the rear is ok. I also am including a NOS rear bumper that is perfect. Just needs to be buffed. Been sitting in newspaper for 40 years. Have all seats and panels. I basically just want to get back what I paid for this car. $2000 and its yours. Easy as that. It has many solid parts and is a solid car except for the quarters and floors which commonly rust out.
