Vehicle Detail

In rare condition, first 1/2 year model (1964 1/2 reg. as 1965), it was built on July 8, 1964 ~ the 92,225th Mustang ever built in the main Dearborn plant, about 1/3 of those were 289-V8's. This is one of the frist 30,000 V8-289 Mustang's ever built and in a condition that's hard to match! Original 289 V8, 4-barrel FoMoCo carburetor, C4 Automatic Trans. Frame-up restoration to all original condition including engine. Colors are all original: exterior-Prairie Bronze Metallic, interior-Palomino (engine was painted blue instead of black). Original dashboard, steering wheel, sunvisors all in like new condition! All dash controls and dash lights work; heater/def/fan, AM radio, cig lighter etc. Original front bumper, rear bumper is new (original one had a small ding in it). The only non-original parts are: rims from a 67 GT, and the exhaust was changed from the original single exhaust to GT style custom duel exhaust from headers back (rear valance changed to GT style to accommodate the duel exhaust ports, (I have the original valance in perfect condition), also valve covers and air filter are chrome Edelbrock, but could be changed to original very easily. 100% MATCHING SERIAL NUMBERS, it even has the original generator cover and rubber boot (if one could be found online, they sell for big bucks). Only 63k ORIGINAL MILES, however engine was rebuilt and re-painted anyway. New undercoating and new paint on interior metal and engine compartment. BRAND NEW PARTS (Concours quality parts): Stainless steel gas tank, shocks, u-joint, brakes, rear bumper, upholstery, headliner, carpet, all rubber, weather-stripping, burtex speckled trunk liner (not the cheap plaid type), duel exhaust, custom mufflers, chrome rims, new tires and spare tire. Garaged entire life in CO, absolutely NO RUST was anywhere on this car, that's rare for an almost 47 year old car, (have restoration photos), no dents or dings, absolutely no Bondo (none needed) because body was in perfect condition prior it's first ever re-paint with PPG base coat/clear coat recently. NADA value on 5/7/11 for this car is $28,000, have all receipts and pictures.
