When it comes to options and equipment however; there's "loaded" and then there's "holy-crap-I-didn't-know-you-could-get-that-much-stuff-on-one-vehicle." This rare Platinum Edition (not many Platinums made, it seems) is of the holy-crap variety. With its factory dual screen DVD entertainment system, all-wheel-drive and chilled air conditioned air wafting up between your legs from perforated leather seats, it may not seem so over-the-top for an SUV of this class. No, over the top would be a Cadillac with all the above and a DVD navigation system, 6.0 liter/345 horsepower, Ultrasonic back-up assist with 24-inch Gazario wheels. But hey; we don't want to oversell it by pointing out the rear air conditioner, infrared wireless headphones, 14-position seats and a Bulgari clock. Would it be too ostentatious to talk about the cooled/heated cup holders? Naw; we'll just say that you are going to love the Zebrano wood trim, Bose audio, HID headlights, sun roof, remote game plug-in, touch screen LCD and tire pressure monitoring system and leave it at that. P.S. Power lumbar/side bolsters, XM satellite, auto-leveling/road sensing suspension and power adjustable pedals . . . but that's really all we're going to say. Why we chose this Escalade ESV: Because everybody wants one and especially because this is a not-often-seen Platinum Edition. What that basically means is you get everything but the kitchen sink including all wheel drive, a DVD entertainment system and a big honkin' 6.0 liter V8. Both air conditioners blow ice cold (on your backside and in your face) and the Bose audio sound quality is almost beyond belief. It's a high content luxury SUV that is high on a lot of people's wish list. That made it a no-brainer for us and why it will be an instant sell and an instant hit with your family. (when you bring it home) Viva Las Vegas Automotive Boot Camp: Our 130 point inspection found everything up where it should be and nothing amiss. It has an occasional (tiny) chip in the paint here and there but the finish and the body look spectacular, much better than you would expect for a vehicle with this mileage. The interior is absolutely gorgeous/in superb condition and the only other thing we found was the driver's side fog light is burned out. Pearl paint, running boards and 24-inch Gazario wheels. Great paint, straight body and superb exterior trim. Chrome grille, HID headlights and tow hooks. (driver's side fog light out) This Escalade ESV Platinum has full time all-wheel-drive. Great body looking down the side and matching white wheel inserts. This Cadillac ESV is plenty big enough (and plush enough) to haul your family and all their stuff. Dark tinted glass is factory, not aftermarket. Class IV receiver is wired and ready to tow! This Escalade has Ultrasonic back-up assist. Look at those gorgeous 24-inch wheels! Power adjustable pedals, tilt and million-way adjustable seats. These seats (and the two middle row seats) can send cool or heated air up your . . . . they can heat or cool your backside. 24-inch Gazario wheels and the tires have plenty of tread.
