FOR SALE: 1971 CHEVY C20 3/4 TON 4X4 TRUCK WITH A 396 BIG BLOCK EQUIPPED AS A FIRE TRUCK. THIS TRUCK WAS PURCHASED IN 1975 AND THE FIRE/SPRAY EQUIPMENT WAS ADDED. ALSO A 1969 396 WAS INSTALLED, WHICH IS A CE CODE FACTORY REPLACEMENT ENGINE, GREAT FOR MAKING A ORIGINAL MUSCLE CAR MORE VALUABLE. Also the dual rear wheels were added at this time. The truck runs and drives great and has always been sheded since at least 1975. The truck has the 396 with 4 speed trans and power steering. The body is very solid and straight with rust only in rockers and lower cab corners. The floors, braces and frame are very solid, western KS truck all its life. The truck was originally white and still is inside the cab. The dash pad is original with no tears or cracks. The pumping unit has a 200-250 gal tank with gas motor which has electric start and runs like new. There is aprrox 75-100 ft. of hose and has and electric hose pick up reel which works great. This is a neat older classic chevy truck which is useable to fight fires, water/spray truck or whatever your needs. The pumping unit is on a seperate flatbed and could be removed easily and sold if you want the truck itself to use or restore. The motor is a 1969 396 with CE stampinngs in the block which is a factory replacement motor direct from GM, very desireable for restoring a Camaro, Chevelle, Nova, Corvette or just to use in a street rod/machine.
