1979 Ford F350 Ranger XLT with 460ci engine and automatic C-6 Transmission. It was built with power steering, power brakes, a 4 barrel carburetor, HD radiator, HD alternator, and air conditioning (although the compressor has been removed). Sliding rear window and all glass is in good condition. It has headers and dual exhaust (the exhaust pipes have leaks and should be replaced). All four tires have great tread however, the front have dry rotting on the sidewalls due to age. This is a 1 ton truck with an extended axle, which meant that it had a larger footprint thus making trailering and hauling heavy loads easy and with stability. This truck will haul most anything you can couple to or load with power to spare. This engine runs very strong, however, the carburetor could probably benefit from a rebuild. There are no leaks, and the truck steers,stays on the road and motors nicely. It has the original paint with some shine still left when cleaned up. It has minimal rust spots though mostly on the surface. The spare tire panel on the passenger side has lost about 3 inches of metal due to rust.There is slight damage to left rear tailgate edge. Nice trim work in and out. Headliner is in great condition as well. The radio was removed and never replaced. It has nice carpet with no signs of any water intrusion from below. All switches, fans and lights work as they should. It has dual tanks, however the front has a slow leak when completely full, and the sending unit (gauge) on the rear tank is inoperable.
