One 1988 VW Golf GL 4 door hatchback. 1.8L 4 cyl engine with automatic trans. Actual mileage today is 58252. This vehicle has been in the family since new. It was purchased at Scott Volkswagen in 1988 by my Grandmother. It was never driven in bad weather or snow. It has been garaged every day since new. It as been regulary serviced and is ready to drive anywhere. AM/FM radio, AC, manual windows and locks. Has new Radiatior and hoses. This car was originally equipped with 13" steel wheels, but has been changed to 14" aluminum wheels from a GTI. The original wheels are also included. With the exception of the sagging headliner, the interior is like new. No rips, tears, stains, damage, or missing parts. The overall condition of the exterior is fantastic. However, with any vehcile this age there are some very minor dings and sratched here and there. The headliner will need to be repaired. The window washer pump does not work, and the right front door has a water leak. It may need a new seal. Everything else works as it should and this car can be driven anywhere anytime. Has a valid RI state inspection. The winner will be provided a Bill of Sale and a copy of the registration. RI does not issue titles on cars over 10 years old. $500 deposit required within 48 hours of auction ending. Remaining balance due when car is picked up or prior to shipping via bank check only.
