2002 VW JETTA TDI GLS Automatic (No Reserve) 2002 VW JETTA TDI with 119,200 miles, Automatic transmission. Loaded with Moonroof, Leather seats with Heated Seats in the front, Keyless entry, CD player and Multi CD changer, tires with low wear and dual air bags. I've owned this car since 2005 and it has always run great and has been a reliable car. Right now we have three cars and the Jetta is largely unused which is why I'm selling it. When I bought the car, it had a Check Engine light On but this has not caused me any problems. The mechanic at the time said it could be a simple thing but needed to do an extensive diagnostic, one which I never did. I had bought this car for a daily commute that never happened and it has been with me largely unused the last few years save for the small family trips. It's in very good condition with no issues to speak of. VW's are well built cars and the diesels run almost forever. If you're looking for a good diesel commuter car with low maintenance this is the car for you. You have to realize this is a 9 yr old car and some things will show it's age. I would suggest doing a tune up only because it hasn't been done in a long time, I've always maintained the oil changes religiously and had all four tires replaced with new Bridgestone Potenzas as well as new battery. The leather seats are very comfortable and the heated option is a must if you live in the cold weather. If you like the sun, the moonroof is a delight. This car has all the options possible including a Multi CD changer in the trunk (one I have to admit I haven't used as much) and factory all weather floor mats. The Jetta is being sold as is and no warranties are included. It has a PA title, use the VIN number to check it out. There was a rear end collision about 2 years ago (no fault of mine), it was a minor one where the trunk was dented and it was fixed by Sterling Body Shop. The car has a single key fob but the remote keyless functions do Not work. One of the cup holders in the front is not working; I've included a picture. It's a bug on the Experian AutoCheck Info that ebay uses which derives it from DMV's. I used to live in IL back in 2005. Perhaps it's the fuse box.
