Up for auction is a 1966 Ford Mustang. It comes with a six cylinder engine and automatic transmission. Odometer shows 50,146; but probably 150,146.... It is black with red interior. The seat upholstery is original. The driver's side seat has a tear in it. The other seats are in good condition. The Mustang was painted gloss black five years ago. It has some dents and dings along the sides and hood; but overall in very good condition. It has had some frame repair. "A nice 10-15 footer" as they say. It might not be the original engine as it has had a manual choke added. The engine runs strong but burns oil. It is loud as there is a crack in the manifold. It tends to run hot in really hot weather. This is not a judged show car, but rather a weekend driver/cruise-in car. It has won many favorite awards at cruise-ins over the past five years that I have owned it. The Mustang has a lot of new parts including new chrome inside and out, carpet, dash cover, door panels, new front floor pans (bolted over original rusted ones), and many other new items. The parking brake does not work, as well as a rear window, horn, and a few other items. The door jams are broken. Both doors swing all the way around to the front fenders. Door must be held or they will strike the fender. It has a working, after market AM/FM cassette radio installed. This car has been garaged as the passenger side window leaks. It has had front end work completed, new fuel tank/fuel line, new transmission seals, and new tires. It needs some engine and electrical work, buying vehicle as is.
